Stains are gently pre-treated by hand using eco friendly, fabric safe solutions. The dress is cleaned in a highly controlled, low temperature environment then expertly steam pressed by hand to restore its original shape and flawless drape.
The dress is carefully folded using sheets of pure acid free white tissue paper then placed inside an archival grade preservation box. This breathable environment prevents yellowing, stops fabric decay, and keeps out dust and light for generations.
